Vietnamese Sweet Fish Sauce

Ingredients
1 cup of water
1/2 cup fish sauce
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup white vinegar
1/4 tsp salt
1 lime (juiced)
2-3 garlic cloves (minced)
1-2 red Thai chiles stem removed and minced
Instructions
Step 1: Heat water in a pot on the stove and bring to a boil.
Step 2: Add sugar and salt and stir until dissolved in the water.
Step 3: Take off the heat and whisk together fish sauce, vinegar, and minced Thai chili.
Step 4: Add garlic and 1/2 the lime juice. You can add more lime juice if you please.
HOW TO STORE: You can refrigerate the sauce covered in a jar or container indefinitely.
